Associate Trade Marketing Manager

About the role

The Associate Trade Marketing Manager will champion the Frozen category for Barakat, driving revenue, profitability and sustainable growth across both B2B and B2C channels. Working closely with distributors and cross‑functional teams, the role will expand distribution, develop new channels and embed the Frozen portfolio into relevant market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver frozen category revenue, gross margin and profitability targets while identifying growth opportunities.
• Drive sales growth across B2B and B2C channels with clear, channel‑specific plans.
• Expand numeric and weighted distribution in priority markets by partnering with distributors.
• Increase visibility and contribution of frozen products across Barakat’s channels and customer segments.
• Align sales, marketing, supply chain and finance teams to embed category priorities into overall commercial plans.
• Manage category budgets and trade spend, ensuring ROI‑focused investments.
• Identify and convert new customers, channels, products and markets to build a robust growth pipeline.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link category decisions to sales, revenue and profitability.
• Working knowledge of B2C business in the GCC; B2B/foodservice experience is a plus.
• Advanced analytical capability with expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and AI‑driven data tools.
• Proven project‑management and operational‑excellence skills, delivering ideas from concept to measurable impact.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and building new ways of working.
