Associate – Unsecured Policy (Graduate)

About the role

The Associate – Unsecured Policy will support the retail credit policy function and portfolio, providing end‑to‑end oversight of the credit cycle from sourcing and approval through to collections. The role is designed for fresh UAE national graduates and focuses on maintaining a healthy credit portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Post‑Approval Review in line with approved processes and ensure compliance with local and internal regulations.
• Review the Daily Disaster Report and highlight any regulatory breaches.
• Track, update and maintain a log of all policy changes and tests for product performance assessment.
• Communicate credit policy decisions clearly to relevant units and document all decisions.
• Ensure delegation and deviation matrices are in place and adhered to.
• Complete the policy department RCSA on time and perform testing of policy functions.
• Analyse MIS to monitor portfolio quality, risk and the impact of policy changes.
• Coordinate with the IT team to develop policy parameters and automate data reports.
• Review collections for top delinquent accounts and analyse drivers of delinquency.
• Participate in portfolio reviews, understanding mix of expat vs UAE, salary‑transfer vs non‑salary‑transfer accounts.

Required profile

• UAE national, recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and an academic background in finance.
• Internship experience (any sector) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to analyse data, understand credit risk and policy implications.
