Associated Director – Market Product Specialist (UAE National)

About the role

Join Standard Chartered's Capital Markets Products and Sales (CMPS) team in Dubai as an Associated Director Market Product Specialist. You will drive pricing, execution and client advisory across structured products, FX, fixed income and equity markets, supporting the front office and retail bank.

Key responsibilities

• Price and execute equity derivatives, structured notes, FX, fixed‑income and commodity trades.
• Prepare and present weekly trade ideas to the front office and coordinate with external banks on product development.
• Manage end‑to‑end trade documentation, booking, settlement and risk monitoring.
• Support front‑office sales targets, conduct new RM inductions and product calls, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects to optimise processes and build the SP, FI and FX business in the UAE.

Required profile

• Prior experience as a dealer or trader in banking, preferably with wealth‑management product knowledge.
• Strong communication, high attention to detail and disciplined work approach.
• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Macros and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
• Knowledge of structured products, foreign exchange, fixed income, derivatives and related asset classes.
