Audit & Assurance Associate (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking an Audit & Assurance Associate to join our UAE team. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse client engagements, applying Deloitte’s global audit methodology while developing professional expertise in audit and risk advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment procedures and evaluate the risk of material misstatement for client entities.
• Apply relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements throughout the audit process.
• Execute audit fieldwork, testing, and documentation in line with Deloitte’s Global Audit Imperatives.
• Formulate professional judgments and deliver timely, high‑quality audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, independence requirements and the firm’s quality control policies.

Required profile

• Strong appreciation for audit and risk advisory priorities and stakeholder expectations.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards applicable to the entities being audited.
• Ability to assess risks, draw conclusions and communicate findings effectively.
• Commitment to uphold professional and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP).
• Audit risk assessment techniques.
