Audit & Compliance Manager

About the role

The Audit & Compliance Manager will lead internal audit, regulatory compliance and risk mitigation initiatives for a fast‑growing real‑estate investment firm in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures robust governance, adherence to UAE regulations and effective internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute full‑scope internal audit plans and compliance reviews.
• Develop, update and enforce corporate governance, risk management and internal control policies.
• Monitor strict compliance with UAE AML regulations, real‑estate guidelines and other statutory requirements.
• Identify operational vulnerabilities, conduct process audits and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, present findings to executives and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise, train and mentor the internal audit and compliance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or compliance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE AML/KYC regulations and real‑estate compliance.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CAMS, CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
