Audit Manager – External Financial Audit

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead external financial audit engagements for a reputable firm in Dubai. The role involves managing multiple audit projects, guiding high‑performing teams, and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting the practice’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on external audit engagements across diverse industries, ensuring compliance with IFRS, ISA, and UAE regulations.
• Review and approve audit strategies, risk assessments, materiality calculations, and deliverables.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, timelines, and resource allocation for multiple engagements.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and auditing matters, including consolidations and financial instruments.
• Lead, coach, and mentor audit teams, conduct performance evaluations, and deliver technical training.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, audit committees, and board members, driving client satisfaction and business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Active CPA or CA certification.
• Minimum 8–10 years of external audit experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• Experience managing audit portfolios and leading teams, with exposure to listed entities and regulated sectors.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Proficiency with audit software such as CaseWare or TeamMate.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with data‑analytics tools such as Power BI, IDEA, or ACL.
