Audit Manager – FinTech & Payments (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Audit Manager to join a confidential, UAE‑regulated business operating in the fintech and payments space. The role will lead business, operational, technology and regulatory audits, ensuring robust internal controls and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal, operational, technology and regulatory audits.
• Assess and strengthen internal control frameworks and risk‑management processes.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports and drive remediation activities to closure.
• Validate compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and liaise with external auditors and regulators.
• Engage senior business stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of internal or external audit experience.
• Fully professionally accredited (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA) – part‑qualified candidates will not be considered.
• Proven track record in a UAE‑regulated fintech, payments or banking environment.
• Strong ability to review controls, identify process gaps and assess regulatory risks.
• Experience preparing audit reports and managing remediation through closure.
