Audit & Tax Manager

About the role

ADEPTS is hiring an Audit & Tax Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead client engagements, strengthen technical quality and build a high-performing team. The role suits a qualified professional combining audit and UAE tax expertise with the ability to manage client relationships and own delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead external audit engagements from planning through completion, in line with International Standards on Auditing and reporting requirements.
• Review financial statements under IFRS, audit working papers, significant findings and management letters.
• Manage UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance and advisory work, including reviews of calculations, returns and technical assessments.
• Coordinate transfer pricing matters and specialist advice where needed.
• Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, resource allocation, billing and collections.
• Build trusted client relationships and guide clients on accounting, tax and business matters.
• Coach and review team members while keeping documentation and professional standards strong.
• Support proposals, client onboarding, renewals and opportunities to grow client relationships.

Required profile

• Qualified CA professional.
• Attested Bachelor's degree (mandatory).
• At least 5 years after qualification in an audit or professional services firm, including managing engagements and teams.
• Experience in UAE professional services.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, International Standards on Auditing, UAE Corporate Tax and VAT.
• Technical writing, communication and client management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to handle multiple assignments with accountability for quality and deadlines.
