Audit Trainee (UAE National Only)

About the role

A leading financial services organisation is seeking a motivated and ambitious UAE National to join its Internal Audit team as an Audit Trainee. The role suits recent graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a foundation in auditing, risk management, governance and regulatory compliance. The trainee receives structured training, mentorship and exposure to a variety of business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit engagements by helping plan, execute and document audit reviews across business units
• Review processes, controls and operations to identify risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities
• Assist in gathering, analysing and validating information through interviews, data reviews and testing
• Prepare audit working papers, reports and presentations in line with internal audit standards
• Work with team members and business stakeholders to track findings and support follow-up

Required profile

• UAE National with a Family Book
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management or a related field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
