Auto Mechanic Helper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Auto Mechanic Helper to join our Workshop / Vehicle Assembly & Fabrication team. You will work hands‑on with engine, chassis and suspension tasks across ATV, UTV and EV platforms, supporting engineers and senior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with engine assembly and disassembly, including small engines and EV drivetrain components.
• Support chassis and frame fitting, alignment, bolting and torqueing to specification.
• Fit and adjust suspension and steering components.
• Read ECU and wiring diagrams to perform engine start‑up and testing.
• Use hand tools, torque wrenches and measuring instruments such as calipers and feeler gauges.
• Interpret basic assembly drawings and bills of materials, following instructions from engineers.

Required profile

• 2–5 years experience as a mechanic helper/assistant in an automotive, motorcycle or off‑road workshop.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.
• Team player willing to support composite and electrical technicians.
• Basic English or Hindi communication skills.

Required skills

• Engine assembly and disassembly (small engines; PMSM/EV exposure a plus).
• Chassis and frame fitting, alignment and torqueing.
• Suspension and steering component fitting.
• Reading ECU/wiring diagrams and performing engine testing.
• Proficiency with hand tools, torque wrenches, calipers and feeler gauges.
• Reading assembly drawings and bills of materials.
