AutoCAD Technician

About the role

The AutoCAD Technician will support engineering and construction teams by preparing accurate drawings, managing documentation, and providing courier and delivery services between contractors and government counterparts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare required reports for management review and assist with administrative actions, including data entry.
• Produce detailed finished drawings from engineering concept sketches, redlined drawings and schematics.
• Apply Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE) and generate topographical maps.
• Operate surveying equipment such as a theodolite, geodimeter and Trimble GPS Rover.
• Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of surveying and drafting experience, including at least one year with recent versions of AutoCAD.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (US citizenship required).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and to work in remote or adverse conditions.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD for architectural, electrical, mechanical, structural and civil design.
• Use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Operation of surveying instruments: theodolite, geodimeter, Trimble GPS Rover.
• Application of Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE).
