Automation DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Specialist

About the role

The Automation DevOps Engineer will design, implement and maintain the infrastructure and tools that enable efficient software development and deployment. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to embed security, scalability and reliability into CI/CD pipelines across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure, automated release processes that integrate DevSecOps practices.
• Build, manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git and SonarQube.
• Deploy and operate containerised workloads on Kubernetes clusters (AKS) and ensure high‑availability.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in coding, build and deployment workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, roadmap and knowledge‑sharing for platform configuration and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• 6+ years of overall IT experience with 3‑4 years hands‑on DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions across teams.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, SonarQube).
• Container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure AKS.
• Cloud infrastructure: Microsoft Azure.
• Scripting/coding (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk and other observability platforms.
• Agile development methodologies.
