Automobile Storekeeper - Classic Cars Workshop

About the role

Apt Resources is recruiting an experienced Automobile Storekeeper for a prestigious Classic Cars Auto workshop in Dubai. The role covers spare parts, tools, automotive materials and equipment needed for vehicle restoration, maintenance and workshop operations. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of automotive parts, excellent inventory control skills and experience in a premium automotive or workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and organise inventory of spare parts, components, tools, consumables and workshop materials.
• Receive, inspect and verify incoming parts against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate stock records, inventory systems and documentation.
• Issue parts to technicians and workshop teams on approved requests and monitor stock levels for replenishment.
• Identify, label and store parts properly, including keeping records of rare, vintage and classic vehicle parts.
• Coordinate with procurement, workshop and maintenance teams and run regular stock checks, cycle counts and annual inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage conditions, follow health, safety and housekeeping standards, and help identify alternative replacement parts.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Automotive Storekeeper, Parts Coordinator or similar.
• Experience with luxury vehicles, classic cars, restoration workshops or premium brands is highly preferred.
• Ability to read parts catalogs, invoices and technical documents; good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Familiarity with engine parts, electrical systems, body parts and mechanical items.
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Knowledge of stock control procedures and safety standards.
