Automotive Parts Manager

About the role

The Parts Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end spare‑parts operations at the UAE subsidiary of an OEM. The role covers supply‑chain management, inventory planning, parts pricing, dealer business development and team leadership to ensure efficient and profitable service for the authorized dealer network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse historical sales, seasonal patterns and market trends to produce accurate rolling demand forecasts.
• Develop and maintain inventory policies (min‑max levels, safety stock, reorder points) for fast‑moving, slow‑moving and critical VOR parts.
• Translate forecasts into monthly purchase plans aligned with lead times, warehouse capacity and cash‑flow requirements.
• Coordinate with headquarters on new‑model parts packs to guarantee stock availability before launches or campaigns.
• Manage supplier relations and purchase‑order processes to secure timely deliveries.
• Set and monitor parts pricing, supporting dealer network growth and profitability.
• Lead the parts team, ensuring high service levels for dealers and customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) experience in automotive parts, supply‑chain or related functions.
• Proven ability to analyse sales data, forecast demand and plan inventory.
• Experience with warehouse management and dealer network support.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
