AVP Business Finance – Coverage & GCF (Emiratized)

About the role

The AVP Business Finance role supports the Wholesale, IB & International Business Finance team, providing trusted financial advice and reporting for the Coverage and Global Corporate Finance (GCF) functions. The position acts as a key finance partner, ensuring performance insight, compliance and strategic alignment with group objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial support and guidance to the Investment Banking business, aligning with overall group objectives.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability, cost management and performance metrics to support decision‑making.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual management information reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies and governance standards.
• Lead day‑to‑day month‑end controls, P&L and balance‑sheet reconciliation for Coverage.
• Develop and own Coverage‑relevant policies, monitor adherence and report breaches.
• Collaborate with Treasury on liquidity, capital and funding matters affecting Coverage and CIB products.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of finance experience in a leading international or regional bank.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
• Technical knowledge of wholesale and investment banking products.
