AVP, HR Business Partner (Emiratized Role)

About the role

This is an Emiratized role as Associate Vice President, HR Business Partner, working in partnership with n-2 and n-3 roles to understand their HR requirements and deliver timely HR support. The aim is to support the Group's strategic objectives through aligned people plans and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Cascade the functional strategy into department business plans and lead talent development, working with technical experts to build the right talent pool.
• Advise and coach n-2 and n-3 roles, acting as an internal consultant on HR strategies and people plans, and support employees on HR policies and current legislation.
• Coach managers on performance management and complex employee relations issues.
• Collaborate with n-2, n-3 and HR product partners to develop value propositions and products that improve people performance.
• Influence and guide the scoping and implementation of organisational restructures in line with Group strategy.
• Manage action plans for the development, succession, retention and development of high-potential individuals and Emiratis.
• Implement departmental policies, procedures and controls, and prepare accurate, timely department reports.
• Support stakeholders in upholding conflict of interest and FABs Code of Conduct policies, including gifts, entertainments, personal account dealing and outside business interests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline.
• 6 years' relevant experience in the banking sector, including at least 2 years in similar HR consultancy positions with progressively greater managerial responsibility.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is preferred.
