AVP Portfolio Performance – Personal Banking

About the role

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Portfolio Performance will lead the Portfolio Analytics function within Personal Banking. The role focuses on delivering analytical insights, automating reporting, and supporting strategic decision‑making for credit and collections.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse portfolio behaviour across business segments to identify risk, opportunities and improve performance.
• Provide actionable insights on customer profiling, credit performance and recommend solutions that balance risk and reward.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, deliver tactical solutions and produce forecasts for profitable growth.
• Automate credit analytics using SAS, SQL, VBA, Macros, R, Python, E‑miner and other tools.
• Manage monthly and quarterly portfolio reporting, including reports to business heads, credit committees and the Central Bank.
• Monitor company‑level performance, forecast credit losses, and re‑forecast quarterly based on actuals.
• Establish independent controls, monitor key risk indicators and ensure timely regulatory and internal reporting.
• Document processes, allocate sample cases to the Quality team and ensure audit items are closed promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum several years of experience in credit analytics or related finance functions.
• Proven ability to work across organisational levels, mentor team members and drive change.
