AVP Technology & Information Security – Dubai

About the role

The Assistant Vice President will lead technology and information security for DBS's Dubai branch, ensuring services are stable, secure and aligned with Group standards and local regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead branch technology operations, ensuring stable, secure and resilient services.
• Own the technology risk and information security framework, including risk identification, control design, monitoring, incident handling and escalation.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, audit readiness and continuous improvement of the technology control environment.
• Manage third‑party technology and security risk, conducting due diligence, control assurance and vendor oversight.
• Develop and coach the branch technology team, fostering strong stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Proven technology leadership experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
• Experience leading a small, high‑performing technology team in a hands‑on, business‑facing role.
• Strong understanding of technology risk, information security and operational resilience in a regulated setting.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, technology, cybersecurity or a related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
