AWS Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and optimise AWS environments for a variety of client projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role blends hands‑on infrastructure work with client advisory responsibilities, allowing you to shape cloud architectures and deliver scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain modular cloud‑based systems within AWS.
• Advise clients on modern AWS design, architecture and implementation aligned with business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application deployment challenges.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
• Configure Kubernetes clusters and support containerised application deployments.
• Design secure networking environments, including VPCs and related security controls.
• Identify and execute improvements for performance, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Apply AWS security best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, AWS Engineer, DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing AWS resources in production.
• Strong background with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
• Practical experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
