Azure Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Azure‑based infrastructure that supports our enterprise solutions. You will work closely with development and integration teams to ensure cloud‑ready architectures across development, staging, and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, SQL, and Virtual Networks for client projects.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Monitor, optimise and control cost, performance, and reliability of cloud environments.
• Apply security best practices, including Azure AD/Entra ID, RBAC, and network policies.
• Support disaster‑recovery planning, backup strategies, and compliance requirements.
• Document designs, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, databases).
• Proficiency with at least one IaC tool (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and monitoring/alerting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
