Azure Infrastructure Senior Manager

About the role

Miral Experiences, which manages and operates immersive attractions such as Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld and CLYMB in Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Senior Manager to join its Technology Operations team. The role manages, develops and secures the Microsoft Azure environment so that cloud infrastructure is scalable, resilient and aligned with the enterprise architecture, technology strategy and information security requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the enterprise Microsoft Azure environment and lead Azure infrastructure projects within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Design, implement and operate PaaS-based infrastructure on Azure, and design and manage CI/CD pipelines supporting DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, networking, identity, Web Apps, Application Gateway and API Management (APIM).
• Drive infrastructure automation with Azure DevOps, PowerShell and related tools; monitor performance, availability, security and platform health.
• Handle security alerts, vulnerabilities and incidents, and support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Manage Azure audits, vulnerability assessments and risk remediation, and track consumption, costs, KPIs and performance.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership, evaluate new cloud technologies and collaborate with Information Security, Architecture and Engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of Azure administration / infrastructure experience, including managing Azure solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications: mandatory Microsoft Azure, DevOps and ITIL certifications; good to have Project Management / Agile, ISO 27001, MBA, and knowledge of PCI, GDPR, ISO standards and UAE security regulations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking, security and identity management.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Machines, Azure Networking and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, DevSecOps and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with PowerShell or similar automation tools, enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, and Azure infrastructure project management.
