B1 Technician – Aircraft Maintenance

About the role

The successful candidate will assist the Engineer in performing airframe and engine maintenance on Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft. The role involves supporting inspections, repairs, defect rectification and component replacement to ensure aircraft serviceability and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Review assigned task cards with the Engineer‑in‑Charge to understand work scope, priorities and documentation requirements.
• Prepare and execute scheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring required parts, tools and GSE are available.
• Conduct aircraft tests and inspections, identifying and recording any defects or damage.
• Perform repairs, component replacements and related tests in accordance with approved data and procedures.
• Manage tooling and equipment, returning them in good condition after use.
• Report task status to the Engineer‑in‑Charge and highlight any issues.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure safety precautions are followed throughout the maintenance activity.
