B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician – GCAA/EASA with Challenger/Global Type Rating

About the role

Bombardier is opening its new Abu Dhabi Service Center at Al Bateen Executive Airport. The centre will provide advanced MRO services for the entire Bombardier aircraft portfolio. The B2 Aircraft Maintenance Technician will join the Middle‑East aftermarket team, delivering high‑quality maintenance and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Document all work in accordance with manuals and regulations.
• Train, coach and support other employees and supervise mechanics.
• Perform complete engine runs and complex system repairs.
• Release and sign‑off maintenance tasks performed under your supervision.
• Provide time estimates and assist with off‑site maintenance as required.

Required profile

• Valid GCAA and/or EASA Part 66 B2 (or C) Aircraft Technician License.
• Type‑rated on Bombardier Challenger and Global series.
• Minimum 5 years experience on Bombardier Global/Challenger aircraft.
• Knowledge of Appendix I to Part‑66, Part‑M, Part‑145 and relevant human‑factors standards.
• Ability to work shifts, occasional night shifts and travel on short notice.

Required skills

• GCAA/EASA Part 66 B2 licensing.
• Challenger and Global type‑rating.
• Engine run testing and complex aircraft system repair.
• Maintenance documentation and certification.
• Knowledge of EWIS and CDCCL requirements.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings and use of special tools and ground support equipment.
