About the role
The Bakery Commis supports the preparation and service of bakery items for the resort’s outlets. You will work in a dynamic hotel environment, ensuring high‑quality products and hygienic standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise‑en‑place and bake breads, rolls, cakes, cookies, pastries and basic desserts.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards, including proper labeling, dating and FIFO stock rotation.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with health & safety rules.
- Assist at events, banquets and other functions as required.
Required profile
- Experience in a hotel, restaurant or professional bakery is an advantage.
- Ability to measure ingredients accurately and follow standard recipes.
- Good teamwork, communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Required skills
- Operation of ovens, mixers and other bakery equipment.
- Basic dough preparation, mixing, proofing and baking techniques.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene standards.
- Food labeling, temperature control and FIFO stock rotation.
