Bancatakaful Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Bancatakaful Portfolio Manager will own the end‑to‑end management of the Bancatakaful product suite, driving performance monitoring, governance and risk control while delivering insightful reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Bancatakaful product portfolio end‑to‑end, tracking performance against targets such as penetration, persistency, claims ratio and revenue per branch.
• Oversee Takaful Provider agent sales teams and coordinate activities with the ADIB MIS team.
• Support budget and forecast preparation, providing variance commentary for management reviews.
• Monitor provider performance, raise breaches and drive corrective actions through governance forums.
• Develop and maintain a performance dashboard with leading and lagging indicators to highlight emerging risks.
• Conduct regular product and process gap assessments and implement improvement actions.
• Prepare business review decks and senior‑leadership reports, turning raw data into decision‑ready insights.
• Lead internal, external and regulatory audit activities, ensuring timely evidence collection and closure of findings.
• Manage department training plans, track completion and identify skill gaps for upskilling.
• Support new product launches and product reviews, handling documentation, testing and stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Detailed understanding of Takaful and insurance products.
• Strong teamwork and project‑management abilities, with capacity to work independently.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex data clearly.
