Banking Off-Cycle Internship 2027 - Investment Banking, Dubai

About the role

Barclays is running an Off-Cycle Internship in its Investment Banking division in Dubai, open to students in their penultimate or final year of their degree. The internship lasts 3 to 6 months and gives a longer, deeper exposure to projects than a summer internship, with the aim of preparing candidates for a full-time analyst role.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on live deals and client pitches, and advise a broad range of corporate clients on structured solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and take part in training and development programmes
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases and help deploy and launch new products and services
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, answering product questions and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies that support investment banking decisions
• Learn how businesses work and gain insight from industry experts

Required profile

• Penultimate or final year of a degree in any discipline
• Fluent English; Arabic is desirable
• Interest in business and finance, curiosity to learn, and a willingness to show resourcefulness, teamwork and an entrepreneurial spirit
