About the role
The Abu Dhabi EDITION is seeking a motivated Barista to deliver high‑quality coffee and service to guests. You will manage opening and closing duties, operate the cash register, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises.
- Take guest orders, record them in the MICROS POS system, prepare coffee and food items, and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain work areas, stock supplies, and ensure coffee equipment is operated correctly.
- Clean dishes, utensils, tables, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Count cash at shift end, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior work experience required.
- No supervisory experience or certifications required.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle payments.
- Experience using coffee‑making equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
