About the role

Join the café team at Rixos Hotels in Abu Dhabi and craft high‑quality coffee experiences for guests. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering a range of espresso‑based and specialty drinks while providing friendly service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso‑based beverages, drip coffee and specialty drinks.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately and operate the POS system for cash transactions.
• Operate, clean and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders and other café equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Recommend and upsell coffee products and menu items, and assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations and excellent customer service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods and café operations.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude and friendly personality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and handle basic math and cash.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages a plus.
