Barista

About the role

Khansaheb Group is hiring a full-time Barista in Dubai within its Food & Beverage business unit. The barista welcomes customers, prepares and serves hot and cold drinks to their preference, takes orders and payments, and keeps the work area, seating and equipment clean and sanitary. The role suits candidates with 2+ years of experience and a diploma or higher education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a consistent customer experience and follow the defined service sequence
• Clear tables, replenish them and respond to customer requests
• Handle bills correctly and process cash and credit cards according to procedure
• Take orders using the POS system
• Prepare the restaurant or cafe for service (mise-en-place)
• Follow recipes and methods for making beverages
• Describe product features and identify upselling opportunities
• Keep accurate information between shifts and support colleagues
• Follow health and safety regulations and cleaning schedules

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the restaurant or cafe business
• Diploma or higher education
• Solid background in customer service, cash handling and food service
• Good teamwork and team management skills

• Knowledge of ingredients, allergens and presentation
