Barista, Noor Lounge (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai is seeking a skilled Barista for its Noor Lounge. The role involves preparing a wide range of coffee, tea, and creative non‑alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish coffee, espresso, blended coffee, teas and creative non‑alcoholic drinks according to standards.
• Explain menu concepts and beverage characteristics to guests and recommend suitable drinks.
• Set up the bar, manage mise en place, and ensure all equipment and ingredients are ready for service.
• Maintain inventory, conduct daily and monthly stock checks, and follow FIFO and labeling procedures.
• Handle customer complaints, process orders through the POS system, and perform cashiering duties as needed.
• Assist in creating new blended drinks for promotions and new menus.
• Clean, sanitize, and deep‑clean bar areas and storage facilities.

Required profile

• High school qualification or equivalent; hospitality or business management diploma preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a bartender/barista in a luxury hotel or high‑end bar.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work long hours with a focus on operational excellence.
