About the role

The Bartender at The Meydan Hotel prepares and serves high-quality alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional, professional guest service in a 5‑star luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Craft classic and innovative signature cocktails, prepare fresh garnishes and syrups, and ensure strict recipe consistency.
• Welcome guests warmly, provide personalized recommendations, and use suggestive selling techniques to promote premium products.
• Handle daily opening and closing procedures, maintain correct stock levels, assist with monthly inventory counts, and control beverage costs.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, sanitize equipment and glassware, and ensure compliance with HACCP and local health and safety regulations.
• Partner with culinary and service teams for food‑beverage pairings and support high‑volume shifts and private events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality or equivalent.
• In‑depth knowledge of international spirits, wines, beers, liqueurs and mixology techniques.
• Proven expertise in advanced cocktail preparation, presentation and seasonal menu development.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage guests and drive upselling.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Full understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations and responsible alcohol service.
• Flexible availability for shift work, weekends and holidays.
