Bartender

About the role

25hours Hotel One Central, located near the Museum of the Future in Dubai, is looking for a bartender. The role centres on meeting guests' needs, providing bar service and recommending and upselling products, while following departmental policies, health and safety procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet guests' needs, provide bar service and recommend and upsell where appropriate
• Follow departmental policies, SOPs and the F&B Standards Manual to deliver consistent, quality service
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures and quality standards
• Serve drinks according to defined standards and measures, and mix cocktails and other drinks to recipe
• Process, register and settle drink transactions
• Keep the bar set up, place visuals and merchandise correctly, and handle opening, closing and cleaning tasks
• Work with stewards to keep the bar area clean and ensure enough glassware is available
• Check expiry dates and store perishable garnishes properly
• Serve alcohol responsibly in line with company policy and regulations

Required profile

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a bartender in a 5-star hotel, upscale bar or high-end restaurant
• Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, spirits, wines and bar service standards
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling and handling guest requests and complaints
• Good knowledge of bar hygiene and responsible alcohol service
• Confident communication in English
