Bike Courier

About the role

The Bike Courier handles the collection and dispatch of documents in a timely and accurate way, following pre-defined rules and regulations. The role covers customer support, consignment handling, vehicle maintenance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers with service etiquette, help them complete air waybills correctly and escalate difficult situations
• Ensure timely pickups at client locations, obtain signatures and payments, and coordinate with dispatch and operations for delivery
• Report missing or incorrect paperwork and undeliverable consignments, and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor
• Track collections against pickups and deliver on schedule, keeping assignments safe and prompt
• Maintain the company vehicle in line with RTA regulations, carry out daily and weekly checks, coordinate repairs and keep insurance, registration and fuel card renewals up to date
• Keep accurate attendance records, prepare MIS statements and reports, and maintain customer information confidentiality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and comply with quality management procedures

Required profile

• High school graduate or diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of work experience
