About the role
The Billing Executive will be the first point of contact for patients visiting the medical centre. You will ensure accurate capture of services, generate invoices and handle cash and insurance payments while providing courteous service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and direct patients at the front desk in a professional manner.
- Receive payments by cash or credit card and issue receipts or refunds.
- Enter services accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system following institutional policies.
- Generate cash and insurance invoices, tabulate bills, and identify pricing discrepancies.
- Notify clinic management or Finance Manager of any billing issues.
- Count cash drawer at shift start and reconcile cash and credit sales with EMR at day‑end.
- Maintain statistical data on promotions and campaigns in the authorized format.
- Provide information to customer queries and report system issues.
Required profile
- College Diploma in any discipline or related field.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Cash handling and basic invoicing experience.
