BIM and Information Management Manager – Rail

About the role

The role leads the delivery of information management strategies, standards and governance frameworks for rail projects in the UAE. It ensures alignment with client requirements, programme objectives and ISO 19650 series while driving digital innovation across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of BIM strategy, common data environment (CDE) governance and information standards.
• Develop and manage information requirements, CDEs and digital delivery processes to enable effective collaboration.
• Coordinate information management activities across clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Integrate information management with programme controls, including cost, risk, change and assurance.
• Oversee production, validation and assurance of information models and digital handover throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive adoption of emerging digital technologies and industry best practice to improve data quality and project performance.
• Provide reporting, technical guidance and capability development to strengthen information management competence.
• Champion safety, quality, compliance and continuous improvement, ensuring robust governance and secure information management.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in the applicable discipline.
• Demonstrated experience on rail, metro, high‑speed rail or comparable major infrastructure programmes.
• Strong client‑facing, analytical, written communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Knowledge of delivery processes, standards, systems and governance relevant to the role.
• Professional membership, chartership or specialist certification preferred where applicable.
• UAE or wider GCC experience is advantageous.
