BIM Coordinator

About the role

Vertiv is looking for a detail‑oriented BIM Coordinator to join its busbar engineered‑to‑order team in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will create accurate 2D shop drawings and 3D BIM models for busbar routes in commercial and data‑center projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 3D busbar layout models and 2D shop drawings according to tender specifications and project schedules.
• Conduct review meetings with project team members to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Track and communicate BOQ changes and resolve drawing or specification discrepancies.
• Deliver complete project designs on or before the estimated dates while adhering to health & safety policies.
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure zero‑error design at project close‑out.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator on data‑center or high‑rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM best practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, single‑line diagrams and technical specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM workflow and cloud collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
• Microsoft Office suite.
