BIM Engineer - Dry Utilities (UAE National)

Parsons is a leading innovator in design, construction and engineering, delivering cutting‑edge solutions worldwide. We are seeking a talented and motivated BIM Engineer – Dry Utilities (UAE National) to join our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage 3D BIM models for power distribution, street lighting, telecommunications and related utility networks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate dry utilities with roads, structures, landscape, drainage and other infrastructure elements.
• Perform clash detection, model reviews and design coordination using BIM platforms and collaboration tools.
• Generate detailed drawings, utility layouts, schedules and project documentation directly from BIM models.
• Maintain model quality, accuracy and compliance with client standards and company procedures.
• Utilise digital engineering tools, digital‑twin methodologies and automation techniques to enhance project delivery.
• Assist in organising BIM data, templates, families and model libraries.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and multidisciplinary workshops.
• Support engineering teams with utility visualisation, constructability reviews and project presentations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• UAE National (Emirati) status.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior BIM or utility project experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks is preferred.
• Basic understanding of dry‑utility systems such as power distribution, street lighting and telecommunications.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows, model coordination and clash detection processes.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
