BIM Engineer – Joinery Specialist

About the role

Royal Joinery, part of the United Al Saqer Group, is seeking a BIM Engineer focused on joinery to strengthen its Technical Department. You will work closely with architects, designers and project managers to create accurate 3D BIM models that support high‑quality interior fit‑out projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for all joinery components and systems.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and construction teams to integrate joinery designs into overall building models.
• Provide technical support for BIM software and tools specific to joinery workflows.
• Generate drawings, schedules and documentation directly from the BIM models.
• Ensure all models comply with BIM standards, project specifications and quality requirements.
• Perform regular quality checks to verify model accuracy and completeness.
• Support project managers with BIM‑related insights, reports and ad‑hoc presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of proven experience as a BIM Engineer on joinery or interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of joinery design, detailing and fabrication processes.
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM‑related software and tools.
