BIM Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead digital modelling and coordination throughout the construction phase of infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing BIM workflows, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting the supervision team on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM activities across multidisciplinary teams during construction, establishing and monitoring workflows, standards and information requirements.
• Review contractor BIM submissions, federated models, shop drawings and 4D/5D deliverables for quality, compliance and clash resolution.
• Coordinate clash detection, issue tracking and resolution, and ensure adherence to the project BIM Execution Plan, naming conventions and LOD specifications (300, 400, 500).
• Integrate BIM models with construction schedules, quantities and cost data to support 4D construction simulation and 5D project controls.
• Maintain BIM quality assurance and control processes, validate model information against defined LOD requirements and provide technical guidance to on‑site teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE, with a proven track record as a BIM Manager or senior BIM professional on infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination, LOD requirements and construction‑stage BIM management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work with contractors, consultants, clients and supervision teams.
