Biology Teacher

About the role

ADNOC Schools is seeking high‑performing Biology Teachers to start in January 2027 at the Ruwais Campus. The role involves delivering the Massachusetts State Curriculum and supporting students in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create a climate for learning that encourages outstanding practice and high levels of interest.
• Identify clear teaching and learning objectives, set challenging tasks, and differentiate for SEN or very able students.
• Use assessment for learning and performance data to inform planning and deliver differentiated lessons.
• Maintain discipline in line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy and encourage punctuality, good behaviour, and standards of work.
• Assess and record student progress, provide feedback, and prepare reports for parents.
• Participate in subject development, curriculum planning, and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Fully qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s in Biology, Science or related subject and PGCE or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in the related field.
• Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language.
• Commitment to enrichment programmes and recent involvement in extra‑curricular activities.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.
