Blow Moulding Machine Operator – Plastic Manufacturing

About the role

The Blow Moulding Machine Operator will run extrusion blow moulding equipment to produce HDPE bottles and jerry cans in a Dubai manufacturing plant. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation while meeting quality and production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate EBM/blow moulding machines according to SOPs, monitor parameters such as extruder temperature, blow pressure, and cycle time, and perform changeovers.
• Conduct quality checks on weight, dimensions, wall thickness, appearance and segregation of defective products.
• Achieve production targets, minimise cycle time, control material usage and accurately report output and rejections.
• Perform routine machine and mould inspections, report any leaks, noises, or faults and avoid unauthorised modifications.
• Follow all safety and HSE procedures, wear PPE, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Plastic Processing, Mechanical or Electrical fields (preferred).
• 2–5 years experience operating blow moulding machines, preferably with HDPE/PP extrusion.
• Understanding of EBM machine operation, parison programming and basic hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
