Branch Accountant – Finance & Accounts

About the role

We are looking for a Branch Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in Dubai. The role is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the branch through accurate reporting, reconciliations and support for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day branch accounting operations, including cash and cheque deposits.
• Perform cash, bank and inter‑company general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports for business analysis.
• Issue receipts, refunds and exchange documents in line with company policy.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain prepaid and provision schedules on a monthly basis.
• Record and deposit daily cash and cheque transactions with strict financial discipline.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the manager and uphold confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE.
• CA Inter certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations and reporting.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
