Brand Manager - Bitesize and Adjacent

About the role

Mars is looking for a Brand Manager for its Bitesize and adjacent portfolio in Dubai. The role is responsible for designing and executing the local brand strategy and marketing activities that deliver brand objectives, including NSV and penetration targets, within the global framework. It also leads innovation across the chocolate portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze category and brand performance, identify whitespace opportunities and set short- and long-term brand strategy.
• Create and manage the local brand marketing plan and activity calendar, including budget and resources.
• Deliver market-relevant brand content, using global content where relevant and keeping executions consistent with global brand guidelines.
• Co-lead with the activity management team a cross-functional ATG team to build a 3-year activity plan covering media plans, NPIs, BPIs and consumer promotions.
• Identify and size opportunity spaces across chocolate brands and markets, validate them with consumers and build the business case.
• Lead early conversations with factories and co-manufacturers on feasibility, capex, MOQ and timelines, and manage a 3-year innovation pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's is a plus.
• 5-7 years in brand management and/or innovation, preferably in a multinational CPG company.
• Track record of owning and growing large-scale brands, with hands-on full-funnel marketing plans (media, in-store, digital).
• Experience taking innovation from concept to shelf, ideally across more than one brand or category.
• Middle East and Africa experience is a plus, with a focus on GCC and Egypt.
