BTEC Business Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS World Academy Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic BTEC Business Teacher to join its Business & Economics department immediately. You will work with a diverse, non‑selective student body and contribute to the school’s IB‑aligned learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging BTEC Business lessons to secondary students.
• Support IB Middle Years and Diploma programmes where applicable.
• Utilise data‑driven approaches to improve curriculum and student outcomes.
• Provide personalised academic and pastoral support to learners.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching Business and Economics in a culturally diverse setting.
• Bachelor of Education or a degree plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, etc.).
• Minimum three years of experience teaching secondary Business.
• Alignment with the IB philosophy and Learner Profile values.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
