Building Technician for Staff Housing

About the role

We are looking for a Building Technician to join the Wynn Oasis Engineering team at Wynn Al Marjan Island. The role focuses on maintaining staff housing facilities, ensuring all building systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of staff housing to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC and structural components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Assist with renovation and improvement projects.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in building maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labour and operate tools.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
