Business Analyst - Automotive

About the role

The Business Analyst in the After Sales department will analyse service and spare‑parts data, identify trends and provide actionable insights to support growth. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to improve performance, forecast demand and aid strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse after‑sales service and spare‑parts data to uncover trends, patterns and growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor after‑sales performance.
• Act as the primary contact for OEMs for forecast, actual reports and ad‑hoc data requests.
• Liaise with Group IT and MIS to optimise reporting and system outputs for after‑sales data.
• Create accurate forecasts for services and parts based on historical data, market conditions and industry trends.
• Collaborate with service, parts and workshop managers to develop data‑driven sales plans and targets.
• Identify risks and opportunities to optimise after‑sales strategies.
• Work with the CRM team to enhance the use of customer data in after‑sales initiatives.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Track after‑sales KPIs, benchmark branch performance and provide insights for under‑performing areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in Business Analysis, Data Science or Sales Analytics are a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the automotive or retail sector.
• Proven experience in sales data analysis, forecasting and process improvement.
