Business Analyst – IT Projects

About the role

Transguard Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Information Communication and Technology team at the headquarters in DAFZA, Dubai. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and the IT department, turning business needs into technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes, workflows and systems to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture objectives and translate them into clear functional specifications.
• Facilitate requirements‑gathering sessions, workshops and interviews, documenting and prioritising needs.
• Work with internal and external developers to ensure solutions meet requirements, are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead user acceptance testing, gather feedback and validate solutions.
• Provide training, user support and documentation for new or enhanced IT applications.
• Develop business and functional requirement documents, user stories and use cases.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments and risk analyses.
• Participate in design, configuration and testing of IT systems, monitoring post‑implementation performance and recommending optimisations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing insights with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of business processes, requirements elicitation and analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
