Business Analyst - UAE National Supply Chain

About the role

Amazon's Supply Chain team is seeking a talented, innovative, hands‑on Business Analyst to manage capacity operations for the AMET (Africa, Middle East & Turkey) region. The role blends engineering insight with business acumen, requiring strong SQL expertise, data‑driven decision making, and a passion for improving customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Write ETL queries in SQL/Datanet platforms to extract and transform data.
• Utilise advanced MS Excel skills for data aggregation and analysis.
• Retrieve and combine data from multiple sources, presenting actionable insights.
• Analyze root causes of business problems and identify forward‑looking opportunities.
• Design new metrics and enhance existing ones to support sustainable processes.
• Drive adoption of tools and processes among sellers.
• Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders both verbally and in writing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL concepts.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with data‑analytics platforms such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau.
• Proven ability to solve complex business challenges with accurate financial models or operational improvements.
