Business Development Associate (Inside Sales)

About the role

Kayana helps small and medium-sized businesses with technology for ordering and payments, from point-of-sale systems to self-service kiosks. It is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Business Development Associate (Inside Sales) for its Dubai team. The role combines inbound and outbound sales: converting inbound enquiries while proactively generating leads through outreach and relationship building. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, using phone, email and live chat.

Key responsibilities

• Convert inbound enquiries by phone, email, WhatsApp (if applicable) and live chat
• Generate new leads through cold calling, outreach campaigns, referrals, networking and market research
• Qualify prospects, understand their needs and explain Kayana's value proposition
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and own the sales process from qualification to closing and handover
• Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up and negotiate commercial terms within approved guidelines
• Keep accurate CRM records of activities, pipeline stages, notes and forecasts
• Work with Product, Customer Support and Operations teams, and share market feedback
• Achieve and exceed individual KPIs and sales targets

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development (B2B preferred; telesales/inside sales an advantage)
• Proven ability to close inbound leads and build pipeline through outbound prospecting
• Strong communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
• Fluent spoken and written English is essential

• Proficiency with CRM tools and sales productivity platforms
• Comfortable working with targets, activity metrics and fast-turnaround sales cycles
• Strong organisation, follow-up discipline and attention to detail
