Business Development Associate

About the role

Guidepoint's Business Development team in its Dubai office is looking for an Associate to help build a strong pipeline of prospects across multiple sectors. The role supports Guidepoint's service offerings, builds relationships with clients and communicates how Guidepoint helps organisations stay informed and make better business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outreach by calls and emails to activate new clients
• Build and nurture relationships between prospective clients and senior BD managers, scheduling meetings to advance opportunities
• Partner with senior BD team members to create content and materials that communicate Guidepoint's value proposition
• Research target industries, sub-sectors and companies to understand their challenges and information needs
• Analyse the competitive landscape to inform sales strategies
• Share client and prospect feedback with leadership to refine outreach

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record and extracurricular achievements
• 1-2 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in the Middle East
• Fluent English, written and spoken; Arabic is a plus
• Solid understanding of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to client relationship management
• Comfortable making cold calls and engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
• Right to work in the UAE
